founding low-level product engineer – early-stage cybersecurity startup we are looking for an experienced, product-minded low-level engineer to join our founding core team. this is a well-funded cyber startup in stealth mode, operating in the true early stages where everything is being built from scratch (0 to 1). we are not looking for a generic low-level engineer from unrelated domains. we need someone with a cybersecurity product background who has actually built and shipped real security capabilities (endpoint, agent, sensor, runtime, or similar). what we’re looking for: technical core: 7-10+ years of relevant experience with strong c/c++ and python, coupled with deep, hands-on knowledge of os internals. true early-stage background: proven experience as a founding engineer or part of a very early-stage company, thriving where there is no playbook and everything is built from the ground up. engineering judgment: strong systems-thinking and the ability to balance customer impact, scalability, complexity, performance, and maintainability. ownership & ambiguity: very high ownership, accountability, and independence. you are comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping shape both the product and the technology. team & mentorship: a collaborative team player who enjoys learning from others and mentoring others. the position is based in tel aviv (hybrid). strict confidentiality is guaranteed. reach out via dm or send your cv.
