About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant to join a leading organisation specialising in SAP data and document management, information lifecycle management, and system optimisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering projects that help global clients accelerate their S/4HANA and RISE with SAP migrations, manage data volumes, decommission legacy systems, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR.

This position offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of industries, advising enterprise clients and leading projects that drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on SAP archiving, decommissioning, and content management strategies.
• Support migrations to S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and cloud/hyperscaler environments.
• Deliver system performance improvements through structured data management solutions.
• Work closely with clients on regulatory compliance and information lifecycle management (ILM) initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design, configure, and implement SAP solutions tailored to client needs.
• Engage in client workshops, requirements gathering, and solution delivery.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Proven consultancy background – you must currently (or previously) work within a consultancy or professional services environment, delivering SAP projects for multiple client organisations.
• Extensive experience in SAP data management, archiving, or ILM.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA migration projects and/or SAP system decommissioning.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to advise senior client teams.
• A proactive, solution-driven approach with the ability to work across multiple industries.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with OpenText integration and SAP content solutions.
• Knowledge of GDPR and other compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with mergers & acquisitions and the associated SAP landscape challenges.
