SAP MM Consultant – PR/PO Release Strategy – Global FMCG

Our client is looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support a live programme focused on optimising PR/PO release strategies within SAP ECC. This role is hands-on and will suit someone who can quickly understand requirements, configure MM approvals, and translate business needs into clear SAP functional/technical specifications. This is is an initial 5 month contract - fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure SAP MM PR/PO release strategies and approval workflows
• Work closely with business stakeholders to refine requirements
• Produce clear functional and technical specifications in SAP-aligned language
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and enhancements across MM processes
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams on solution design

Experience Required

• Strong experience as an SAP MM Consultant in ECC environments
• Hands-on expertise with PR/PO release strategies and MM approvals
• Ability to write functional/technical specs (SAP tables, fields, logic, basic ABAP understanding)
• Solid understanding of core MM processes and integration points
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
