About the Role: Mentaily is a digital health company transforming mental health. We are seeking a junior Prompt Engineer to join our Clinical Department. This role is focused on the development of clinical content through the design, writing, and validation of prompts that power a psychiatric assessment platform. The position bridges clinical expertise with innovative AI methodologies, ensuring that prompts are accurate, clinically sensitive, and aligned with DSM-5 and psychiatric best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, draft, and refine clinical prompts for AI-driven psychiatric assessments.
• Validate prompt accuracy, clarity, and adherence to clinical standards.
• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and product teams to optimize content and workflows.
• Conduct clinical QA testing of prompts and their outputs.
• Document prompt logic and maintain structured libraries for reuse and iteration.
• Support continuous improvement by integrating feedback from testing, research data, and clinical users.

Requirements:

• M.A in Psychology, Mental Health, or a related field in the behavioral health sciences.

(Alternatively: B.A in Psychology or related field and relevant clinical experience).

• Strong understanding of psychopathology, diagnostic criteria (DSM-5), and clinical interviewing.
• Excellent clinical writing skills.
• Significant advantage: Prior experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or AI-driven clinical content design.
• Strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• High motivation to contribute to cutting-edge innovation in digital mental health.
