About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processes within our organization. This role requires expertise in payroll systems, compliance, and administration, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-cycle payroll processing using Hargal payroll system.
• Manage payroll administration including benefits, compliance, tax, and year-end activities.
• Handle internal/external audits, finance queries, banking, and treasury tasks.
• Perform payroll accounting and reconciliation; ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Support onboarding processes and employment terminations (e.g., 161 form, severance law).
• Analyze payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide data for audits and reporting.
• Identify risks, review processes, and contribute to payroll-related projects.
• Train and support team members; maintain up-to-date professional knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in payroll operations.
• Strong knowledge of finance, HR, benefits, compliance, and compensation processes.
• Proficiency in payroll systems (Hargal preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with onboarding and various employment contract types.
• Familiarity with local labor laws and severance regulations.
• Ability to work independently and lead small projects.
