About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial Country Manager – Germany to support and grow our clients’ presence in the German iGaming market. This is a hands-on role combining market expertise, execution, localization, and close cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the German iGaming landscape, excellent local market instincts, and experience operating in regulated environments. You will act as the key local market expert for Germany, helping translate global strategies into locally relevant execution while working closely with Acquisition, CRM, Product, Creative, Compliance, and external partners.
Responsibilities
✅German Market Strategy, Growth & Insights:
Act as the local market expert for Germany, supporting country strategy execution in line with business goals, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements. Work closely with Acquisition and CRM teams to support acquisition, retention, revenue, and player lifetime value through localized initiatives, testing, and optimization. Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, player behavior, and regulatory developments, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
✅Social Media, CRM & Copywriting (Hands-On):
Own the day-to-day management of German social media channels, including content planning, posting, community engagement, moderation, and coordination with creative teams. Write and localize CRM copy across email, push, SMS, and in-product messaging, ensuring communications are engaging, compliant, and aligned with campaign objectives.
✅Creative, Brand & Product Localization:
Contribute local market insights to creative strategy, campaigns, promotions, and brand messaging. Support the localization of product features, content, UX, and promotional mechanics to ensure strong relevance and appeal for German players.
✅Compliance & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Product, Marketing, and CRM teams to ensure all market activities, communications, and initiatives align with German regulations, GDPR, licensing requirements, and responsible gaming standards.
✅Partner Management, Reporting & Stakeholder Alignment:
Build and manage relationships with relevant German partners, affiliates, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Provide regular market updates, performance insights, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making and sustainable growth.
Qualifications
Must-Have
🔹3+ years of experience in iGaming in a Country Manager, Market Manager, or similar commercial role
🔹Strong understanding of the German iGaming market, player behavior, and regulatory environment
🔹Proven experience supporting growth, localization, and execution in regulated markets
🔹Hands-on experience collaborating with Acquisition, CRM, Product, Creative, and Compliance teams
🔹Strong analytical and commercial mindset
🔹German speaker
🔹Fluent English (written and spoken)
Nice-to-Have
🔹Hands-on experience with CRM strategies, promotions, and lifecycle messaging
🔹Copywriting experience for marketing or CRM communications
🔹Familiarity with GDPR and responsible gaming regulations
🔹Experience managing or supporting social media channels
🔹Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
🔹Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
