Technical Co-Founder (Audio DSP)
SynthID is building a new kind of audio instrument.
A system that analyzes a sound and reconstructs it as a playable synthesizer.
We’re looking for a technical co-founder with a strong audio DSP background to build the core technology from scratch.
What you’ll build
- Audio analysis and resynthesis pipelines
- DSP systems for timbre extraction, envelopes, harmonic structure, modulation
- A playable instrument engine (plugin / standalone / core engine)
- Early prototypes that sound right - not slides, not demos
Who you are
- Audio DSP engineer
- Experienced in sound analysis and resynthesis
- Able to build synth engines and playable instruments
- Familiar with machine learning for audio analysis
The role
- Co-founder position
- No salary at this stage
- Equity-based
- You’ll own the technical direction and shape the instrument itself
