Business Development Manager in the Consumer Goods and Dermo-Cosmetics Sector

Job Description:

A leading pharmaceutical company is looking for a Business Development Manager in the consumer products, OTC and dermo-cosmetics sector.

Responsible for leading the company's growth initiatives and expanding its areas of activity, identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, managing negotiations and promoting innovation and business development processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Examining market trends, competitors and changing needs in the fields of dermo-cosmetics, skincare, OTC and consumer products.
  • Developing strategies for penetrating new markets, including building brands and launching unique products.
  • Managing negotiations with international suppliers and strategic partners, until agreements are closed.
  • Preparing annual and multi-year work plans and creating sales, profitability and growth targets.
  • Leading cross-organizational projects, in collaboration with marketing, sales, regulation and operations.
  • Developing new products in accordance with market needs and regulatory requirements, with an emphasis on innovation, quality and compliance with standards.
  • Managing budgets, monitoring performance and formulating periodic reports for management.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in business development in the fields of consumer products/pharma/cosmetics/dermo-cosmetics – required.
  • In-depth familiarity with regulation and standards in these fields.
  • Mastery of marketing and sales processes.
  • Ability to identify trends, market demands and relevant innovations.
  • High skill in managing complex negotiations, building long-term partnerships and leading professional teams.
  • Ability to work with multiple interfaces within the organization.
  • Ability to develop and implement business strategies, initiate innovative solutions, and build goal-based work plans.
  • Ability to analyze data, measure performance, and prepare management reports.
  • High proficiency in English – required (additional languages an advantage).
