**The Role

**We are looking for a Finance Manager (Builder Track) to take ownership of Okoora’s financial operations and help shape a strong, scalable finance function.

This is a hands-on role with real influence. You will work at the heart of the business, translating growth into clear, reliable financial operations. The role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys responsibility, autonomy, and building systems that last.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key partner in strengthening operational discipline, financial clarity, and execution as the company scales.

**What You Will Do

**Financial Operations & Control

• Own and manage day-to-day financial operations end to end
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly closes
• Maintain clean, reliable financial data and reconciliations
• Work closely with the accounting team and external advisors

Payments & Vendor Management

• Own vendor payments and supplier relationships end to end
• Maintain visibility into suppliers, contracts, and payment schedules
• Ensure payments are executed accurately and on time
• Build confidence and trust with vendors through consistent, reliable execution

Billing, Revenue & Collections

• Build and improve billing and invoicing processes
• Ensure alignment between contracts, usage, and revenue recognition
• Improve collections and reduce outstanding balances
• Maintain full control over AR

Revenue & Unit Economics

• Build and maintain an accurate ARR view
• Analyze revenue and profitability by customer and product
• Partner with Sales on contracts and commercial execution

Reporting & Data

• Create clear financial dashboards and management reports
• Establish a single source of truth for financial data
• Replace manual and error-prone reporting processes

Due Diligence Readiness

• Organize financial documentation and data rooms
• Ensure operational financial readiness for partners and investors

Team & Reporting Structure

• Reports directly to the CEO
• Manages the company’s accounting team (controller and bookkeepers)
• Works closely with Sales, Operations, Product, and Engineering

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Background as a Finance Manager, Controller, or Accounting Manager in a SaaS or Fintech company
• Hands-on experience with monthly closes, payments, billing, and collections
• Strong understanding of revenue flows and financial controls

CPA or equivalent accounting qualification is an advantage, but not required.
