Senior Vice President – Contract Development & Manufacturing (FDF CDMO)

Location: Middle East (GCC) | International Travel Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Vice President (SVP) to lead and scale the Finished Dosage Form (FDF) CDMO business of a fast-growing pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation growing their network in the Middle East.

This is a P&L-owning executive role with responsibility for defining and executing the global CDMO strategy, expanding international client partnerships, and positioning the organization as a credible, compliant, and competitive CDMO serving regulated markets.

The SVP will play a pivotal role in transitioning the business from a regional manufacturing provider to a globally relevant CDMO partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global CDMO strategy for FDF across oral solids, liquids, and sterile injectables (where applicable)
• Drive international business development, key account strategy, and long-term partnerships
• Own and deliver revenue growth, margin performance, and pipeline development
• Lead pricing, contract negotiation, and multi-year framework agreements with global pharma and biotech clients

Operational & Technical Interface

• Partner closely with Manufacturing, QA, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and MSAT to ensure commercial feasibility aligns with operational capability
• Oversee capacity planning, portfolio mix, and technology roadmaps to support CDMO growth
• Support regulatory readiness for FDA, EMA, MHRA, and other international authorities

Leadership & Governance

• Build and lead a high-performing global commercial and program management team
• Act as senior executive sponsor for strategic CDMO customers
• Provide regular updates to the Board and Executive Committee on performance, risks, and growth initiatives
• Support M&A, partnerships, and greenfield expansion where relevant

Essential

• 15+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical CDMO sector, with significant exposure to Finished Dosage Forms
• Proven senior leadership experience (VP / SVP / GM level) within a CDMO or pharmaceutical manufacturing organization
• Demonstrated success in international business development and client management
• Strong understanding of GMP manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and CDMO operating models
• Track record of closing large, complex CDMO agreements and scaling revenue

Preferred

• Experience operating in or with emerging markets / Middle East manufacturing
• Exposure to regulated market supply (US/EU)
• MBA or advanced scientific degree
• Experience in PE-backed or transformation environments
